Using OAuth2#
Note for SMS-iT Workflow Cloud users
Cloud users don't need to provide connection details. Select Connect my account to connect through your browser.
If you're self-hosting SMS-iT Workflow, you'll need a Spotify Developer account so you can create a Spotify app:
- Open the Spotify developer dashboard.
- Select Create an app.
- Enter an App name, like
SMS-iT Workflow integration
. - Enter an App description.
- Copy the OAuth Redirect URL from SMS-iT Workflow and enter it as the Redirect URI in your Spotify app.
- Check the box to agree to the Spotify Terms of Service and Branding Guidelines.
- Select Create. The App overview page opens.
- Copy the Client ID and enter it in your SMS-iT Workflow credential.
- Copy the Client Secret and enter it in your SMS-iT Workflow credential.
- Select Connect my account and follow the on-screen prompts to finish authorizing the credential.
